General User Guide

Follow these steps if this is your first time using the portal.

From Opportunity to Final Submission

The portal is designed as a controlled workflow. Your selections should not immediately become a final submission. Instead, they move through several stages so that you have an opportunity to review the information.

1

Explore Dream.ZONE

Start by exploring the available Dream.ZONE information and understanding the opportunities available to you.

2

Explore NFW / Products

Review the available NFW / product opportunities and identify the opportunities that are relevant to your intended proposal.

3

Make Your Selections

Select the opportunities you want to include. Review quantities, commercial information and other available details before continuing.

4

Create the Proposal

Your selections are used to create a proposal. The proposal is the actual business object that moves through the remaining workflow.

5

Review the Proposal

Carefully check your personal information, commercial items, quantities and other proposal information before continuing.

6

Validate the Proposal

Validation checks that the proposal is complete and suitable for the next stage. A proposal should reach the validated state before final submission.

7

Final Submission

After validation, review the proposal one final time and confirm that you want it to become the final submission.

8

Submission Confirmation

Once the final submission has been successfully created, the system provides a submission reference that can be kept for your records.

What is Dream.ZONE?

Dream.ZONE is an area of the portal where users can explore the opportunity structure before selecting specific NFW / commercial opportunities.

What should a general user do here?

Tip: Do not rush into final submission. The portal provides several review stages so that you can check your selections before anything becomes final.

What is NFW / Products?

The NFW / Products section is where available commercial opportunities can be examined and selected for inclusion in a proposal.

Before selecting an opportunity, check:

How Does the Proposal Work?

A proposal is more than a temporary cart selection. The selected commercial opportunities should become part of an actual proposal record that can be reviewed and validated.

Why is this important?

The proposal provides a persistent record of what the user intends to submit. This allows the system to validate the proposal itself rather than relying only on temporary browser or cart information.

What should the user check?

Proposal Review — What Should I Check?

Before validation, the review page should give the user a clear picture of what is about to move forward.

Good Practice

If something is wrong, correct it before validation. The review stage exists to prevent an incorrect proposal from reaching the final submission stage.

Why Does Validation Matter?

Validation is a separate stage from simply having items in a cart. The purpose is to verify that the actual proposal is complete and ready for final submission.

A validated proposal should:

Important: If validation reports an error, do not attempt to bypass it. Return to the proposal information, correct the issue and run the workflow again.

How Does Final Submission Work?

Final submission is the last step of the workflow. At this point, the system should work from the validated proposal rather than simply trusting the user's cart.

Before clicking Final Submission:

  1. Review the proposal one final time.
  2. Confirm that the proposal is marked as validated.
  3. Confirm that the commercial items are correct.
  4. Confirm the final submission checkbox.
  5. Submit the proposal.

After successful submission:

The system creates the final-submission record and displays a submission confirmation. The submission reference should be kept for future reference.

Getting a Copy of Your Final Proposal

After successful final submission, the confirmation page can provide an option to obtain a final copy of the submission.

If a PDF generation feature is enabled, use the final PDF option provided on the submission confirmation page. Otherwise, the browser's print function can be used to save the confirmation as a PDF.

Tip: Keep your submission reference together with any saved copy of your final proposal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for general users.

Do I need to understand every part of the portal before starting?
No. Start with Dream.ZONE and follow the workflow step by step. The Help Centre is available whenever you need clarification.
Is my cart the same thing as my final proposal?
No. The cart is used for selections. The proposal is the persistent proposal record that moves through review, validation and final submission.
Why do I need to review the proposal?

What happens when I submit the final proposal?
The final-submission process verifies the proposal and creates the final submission record. A submission reference is then provided on the confirmation screen.
